Leo Schmidt Design specializes in products made from recycled and re-purposed materials. I was a mechanical engineer with a passion for art - now I am now an artist, designer, and fabricator who creates and sells handmade functional artwork under the Lampcycle and Robo-Troll names, and does design and fabrication work for clients. Commissioned projects have included retail displays, a motorcycle dog carrier, lighting installations, furniture, and nine electric art cars for a Seattle area arts group.
